Every night in the warmer months the Parisians and tourists alike come together on the Champs De Mars to eat and drink and socialise. There are groups of all sizes sitting in circles on the grass taking in the beauty and magnificence of the Eiffel. This is our favourite place in Paris!
Next time you come to Paris, buy yourself some cheese, a baguette, some meats and wine.... You might also want to throw a in some pate, if you're that way inclined. Then "borrow" a knife and some glasses from your hotel, grab something to sit one and head to the park.
It's such a great atmosphere with people young and old and of all nationalities. It looks a bit like Australia Day, but with responsible drinking! Everyone is taking their own type of photo...... Holding up the Eiffel, a variety of jumps in front of the Eiffel, leaning up against the Eiffel. It's great to watch. It doesn't get dark until about 10pm and then............
