Amongst Jen's collection of newspaper cuttings about Canada was an article that described these little ferry boats as "bobbing corks" and when we saw them we couldn't have agreed more. They pick you up on one side of False Creek and jostle over the 150 metres to Granville Island on the other side.
This is something we've planned to do in the next few days.
