So, we sat. We ordered and it came, a bubbling pot of gooey cheese. We had potatoe chip discs and bread to dip into it and a little salad on the side. Well, our first impressions were that they had definitely overstated their bestedness on their sign, because they clearly hadn't eaten at my house, which serves up fondue 100% better than this. Madds tried in vain to make it taste better. She added salt and pepper and just kept stiring, but the longer it sat there, the worse it tasted. So I may look happy in this photo, but that's because I'm excited by the anticipation of having fondue and I haven't put any in my mouth yet! Lunch was only made a little worse by having a parade of passers by with yummy looking toasted paninis and big paper cones full of chips and kebab meat. I felt betrayed and disappointed.
