I don't think the Love Boat ever had one of the guys waving them off though. He was a lone fareweller brandishing the Aussie flag and calling out the ever cringeworthy "Aussie Aussie Aussie" and since more than half the passenger list was Australian, a resounding "Oi Oi Oi" was replied...... More than once.
Turns out, this guy wasn't even Australian..... He just got weirder, but hey, he was happy.
