Skagway

Originally this town was spelt Skaguay....... But when they applied for a post office, e nice lady in the admin office saw that they had spelt it incorrectly and changed it for them... To Skagway, which is how they have had to spell it ever since.

This was such a lovely little town, lined with old wooden buildings, like a movie set from the wild west - except with roads.

It was a shame for us though that all the shops in the town were for the tourists, so 70 jewellery shops and about 65 souvenir junk shops....... I did get some good fridge magnets though - of course!
