So..... the story goes that this lady, Laura Secord lived near the boarder of Canada and the USA and she had to take in some US soldiers. Whilst they were talking about their up and coming mission of invading Canada, she overheard, so she walked over 100kms over snow covered mountatins to tell someone and because of her, the Canadians were ready for the attack and were able to thwort the Americans. She's seen as a hero and now has chocolates and chocolate shops named in her honour.
