Toronto, Ontario, Here We Come.......

We were meant to fly out at midday, but for some reason our flight was changed to 2pm. That ok, we thought, by the time we get off the ship and get through customs and get on the bus and find our luggage and get to the airport and check in and drop our bags off etc..... It should be time to fly. But when we did all that, it turned out that our plane hadn't arrived at the gate. We waited, and we waited, and and hour and a half later, they went and got another one from the hanger to take us! So we arrived in Toronto at 11pm (once we'd changed our clocks forward 3 hours) and were greeted by nobody. There was a group there waiting, hoping to see someone with our tour company's name on it, but nothing. After 10 minutes of fossicking through paper work looking for a phone number to call, a little tiny man appeared with a clipboard. He didnt address himself, nor did he apologise, but we were so tired that we just followed his barking instructions and got on our bus. It was midnight before we reached our downtown hotel, so we popped into the bar for a quick glass o vino before bed and were treated to a snooty waiter under pouring over priced wine. Not the best start to Toronto..... But Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex are staying at the same hotel...... Maybe we'll spot them?

So, on the last bus section of this tour, when we saw miles and miles and kilometres of beautiful scenery, we never got to sit in the front seat....... So this time, we decided we'd push people out the way to get to the front...... And this is what we looked at for 226kms. The seat rotation kicks in tomorrow and you guessed it, we're at the back!
