Here we sit on our balcony, watching the sun go down, sipping our chilled vino and discussing the works of Lucy Maude Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables. I know it sounds as if I'm going on and on and on about this Anne character, but to me she isn't just a character. For me she's the Harry Potter of yesteryear. The ficticious person that you wanted to be friends with. The kindred spirit who waited eagerly on your bookshelf to be read and reread. A constant ray of optimistic sunshine that you wanted to soak in...... so you can understand my excitement.
