An Alexander Graham Bell that is......
Our next stop was a little town called Baddock which is where Mr Bell had a summer house, right there on the lakes. This is a statue of Alex and his wife, Mabel, who was deaf, and was at one time one of AGB's pupils. They are looking out over the lake to their estate.
We knew that AG invented the telephone, but we didn't realise that he had so many fingers in so many other pies. What an amazing fellow.
