I don't mean to be racists, but today we decided to be Kiwis. Not as a cruel joke, but in solidarity with our Pacific cousins.
New Zealand were playing The Netherlands in the women's hockey semi final and we had tickets!
So, not knowing the name of the NZ team, we dressed in black a la the All Blacks and we (possibly illegally) altered the Aussie flag by removing the big star on our tattoos. It wasn't until we got there that we reaslised that their flag has red stars!
It was such an exciting match and NZ were pipped at the penalty shoot out post.
